📲 How do I install g00dtime?

Open g00dtime and click “Install app” or “Add to Home Screen”.
Important: installation doesn’t work in private browsing (local storage is blocked). Outside private mode, your data remains encrypted and protected.

🔔 How do notifications work?

You can enable them on each of your devices. All receive alerts; you choose where to reply.

⚡️ What’s a Flash?

An ultra-fast, ephemeral text message: you send it → it shows → it disappears. (Currently, text-only flashes.)

📱 Differences from a native app?

Limited features (notification sounds, access to certain sensors, system integration), no app stores; updates via the browser.

🔒 Is my data safe?

Yes. Your exchanges are encrypted and no superfluous data is collected. g00dtime keeps only what's necessary to function.

What’s a PWA?

g00dtime is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You get the best of both worlds: the lightness of the web and the power of an app (home-screen icon, notifications, offline use…).

Limits vs. native apps 🧐

A PWA relies on the browser. In practice:

some features are limited: notification sounds, access to certain sensors, tighter system integration;
no presence on the App Store / Play Store (by choice);
updates come via the browser, not a store.

The essentials are all here: messages, notifications, and flashes so you can chat without fuss.

Install g00dtime

Open g00dtime on mobile or desktop.
Choose “Add to Home Screen” or “Install app” (depending on the browser).
No private browsing: in private mode, local storage is blocked → installation won’t work.
No worries about privacy: outside private mode, your exchanges stay encrypted and we don’t collect unnecessary data.
